Take better photos but probably fine. Your serial photos distort how they should look but I think it is OK. Dial and insert looks fair and top of CGs looks OK.

Thank you all. To Linesiders, here's a better photo.

I'm not a big fan of the B53 part of the serial (someone either had a hard weekend and has shakey hands on Monday morning or someone try to 'improve' them) but I think the watch is legit.

I’d prefer an “in hand” inspection but the dial is genuine, case looks good and most likely is 100% kosher.

Dear Sir Old, of course I do.

But the one on your post is in fact my twin brother.

He sells just about anything, I spend all my bucks on Rolex...

Thank you all. I'll have it inspected tomorrow chez Rolex Portugal. Full report tomorrow, then. With your inputs I'm a bit more rolexed right now, but still keeping my fingers crossed.

Engraving is legit - some of these were sloppy then - this matches others I've looked up. Sloppiness was exaggerated by lighting effects in first image.

Agree. Linesiders is your man on this. I've seen legit examples that almost looked like they were scratched on by a drunkard with a safety pin. These genuine Rolex engravings were sometimes a little funky back in the day.

Hello all, thanks for your inputs!

Rolex Portugal has inspected it and this Tudor is perfect.

Their chief watchmaker said these engravings, over that period, were done using a diamond tipped pantograph. It's easy to see the deepest dot where the engraver started each digit. Though the engraver follows a template, there are no 2 numbers alike.

Funny how Tudor's service rates are half Rolex's price.

Oh, ditto for the solid link "S" bracelets!
