My First Rolex! Thought I’d say good morning and
 to a great forum!
Good morning all, I purchased a GMT 116710 LN from an AD back in March and have been reading the forum and meaning to post since then.
I know there is a lot of debate regarding two tone bezels and initially I was searching for a BLNR but couldn’t find one. I was actually very lucky to get this, as I was quoted up to 3 year wait in some places even for the black. I’m really pleased with the outcome and feel that the black bezel provides me with a little more versatility, especially when wearing a suit. That doesn’t mean I wouldn’t grab a BLNR still if one became available! I’ve always loved horology and watches in general and am so pleased to be able to add this to the collection. I traded in an omega seamaster aqua terra day date to get it and while I loved the watch, I don’t have any regrets. I also currently own a seamaster 300m (black), an old Tag Heur 2000 chrono and a Seiko orange monster. It’s a fascinating forum and a pleasure to be part of the community. Congratulation its a fantastic watch, looks amazing and IMO much better than the BLNR, definitely more versatile than the coloured bezels.
