mark 1 dial I believe. need higher rez to tell much on condition. looks nice from what I can see. looks like crystal took impact but need some side angle shots to see better. Like the ghost bezel.

Would need lots more photos to be able to see in more detail but personally I'm not a fan of the colouring of the lume plots. It would bother me that they don't match but ymmv.

Is it a crack or a bit of a chip?

Nice to have original crystal but not essential.

It's a good looking watch, from the pics dial and case looks well preserved.

Since you asked..."What do you guys think of this 1680?"

The insert is bleached and probably sanded too. The dial and case have seen better days.

I think he liked the way the insert looked after sanding it and then went at the case and bracelet. Just a mess, the whole thing.

agree - definitely artificially aged. Its a later service insert and unless he swims everyday in his chlorine pool, shouldnt look like that.

Case is heavily polished, dial exposed to moisture at some point, insert is unnatural, bracelet not period correct for mark 1. Depending on price, if the movement and gaskets are ok...should be an ok buy. Not an expert by any means, just sharing infos I got when I searched for my 1680 :-) Good luck!

Guess I'll keep searching, the price is ok but I think there are better things out there for a little more money.
