Grand Incoming

I recent acquired a 50 years old vintage Grand Seiko 4522-8000 from 1968. I've been eyeing Adam's (Old Expat Beast) collection and been wanting a hi-beat 36000 bph watch. Was able to order one from Asia with relatively easy transaction. I updated my small vintage seiko collection by getting rid of my rarely worn SKX007 and now having a seiko from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. Between the my Rolex's and Seiko's, my biggest problem is not having enough wrists.

Excellent! Love it / congrats.

I acquired one of those from eBay not too long ago. It was fully restored, so purists might scoff. But, it's beautiful And...that seconds hand is mesmerizing.

Take a look at King Seiko as well if you'd like a lower-price alternative for fun.

Thank you, I was originally looking for a KS or LM. Ultimately after looking for a while, I saw a GS in good condition that I liked and went for it. I am still looking at KS and LM on my spare time and will likely pick one up if I see one that I like.
