Good Question Giants, I've had mine about a year, and it still looks pretty darn good! I think the key is keeping it clean so the really fine particles of dirt can't stay on there and wear down the finish. I clean mine at least once a week, just like the book says, with a very fine brush. Anyone else have other advice?

I think that the bezel is the weakest part of that watch

Being a polished bezel hairline scratches will show up quite quickly and if someone is clumsy just like me he'll probably create dents to the bezel

Well the bezel can be replaced and it's not really expensive from what i've heard but still i would be sort of annoyed if i had a bezel full of scratches

Funny, I thought you mention "dull" in interest and excitement. About 6 months.

I agree. The bezel sits down quite a bit below the crystal and on an angle. Seems like it would be difficult to damage the bezel without hitting the crystal first. Too bad they don't offer a black replacement bezel, the shiny bezel is one of my least favorite parts of the watch.

If you look closely at mine you will see a lot of swirls, but from a distance it still looks great and I have owned mine for almost 3 years.

as long as you dont start scraping it along the pavement the shiny parts will stay shiny for years even if they have some scratches.
