Tudor Sub / 94110 / 1980 / Blue

Trying to work a deal on a Tudor Sub that I found at a local reputable Watch & Clock shop near my parents home.

Just wanted to see if any of you see anything odd about this piece.

Here's what I know

Ref: 94110

Serial : 93X,XXX (which should place it in 1980)

Bezel insert has been replaced.

I can't find any exact matches from the Movement photos, as the Tudor stamping on the rotor seems different even on other Sub models from the same year with the same Ref.

Any help would be much appreciated.

If anyone would love throw out a ball park price for what they think the max I should pay for it, I'd love to hear it.

Photos attached (they're not the best as I had to have the watch maker send me some to go over details).

Thanks in advance!

Need better photos - yes insert no good. I am not sure if I like the movement as that serial range 93x,xxx is very decorated . I don't have my notes available right now but I am suspect on that movement - need to see more and in focus.

Thanks! Unfortunately those were the best ones. Unfortunately I’m not in the same city as the watch and shop anymore so this deal may have to just end and I’ll keep searching for a better piece. Again thanks.

Agreed, I would be suspect of that time piece. Tread carefully.

Thanks, I know the photos weren’t great but appreciate you both taking a look on the hunt for a Sub from this era but also don’t want a bad deal.

Thanks again
