Icon6 Blnr discontinued? Part 2

Oh Hi !!! Well not your regular Hyped up BLNR Thread now is it ?

You see, I'm quite a little tired of the Hyped up BLNR Threads...

Ok, So I've had and owned a BLNR in the past.
Sold it for personal reasons.... Regretted it ? yeah so so...
Would I ever own one again ? Only for msrp with no tax or
a DISCOUNT like i had originally .... Maybe...

These $1 to $2K plus premiums on pre-owned models are
for the birds.... I'll happily pass and enjoy my SD4K C
limited run over a BLNR anytime, anywhere and anyday!!!

BYE, BYE GOOD ole BLNR ,
Drove the Heavy ole Chevy to the Levy and cried!!!
Singing this'll be the BLNR Cry
as I drink down the whiskey and Rye.... !!!!

You still have a nice SD4k.

This reminds me of the time I was on a Ferrari forum, many frequent forums posters bought and sold that Ferrari models at an inexpensive affordable prices (just like the air cool Porsche 911 many years ago), they were having fun driving, buying, selling, and owning the same cars over and over again until the collectors got involve later and price of these cars shot up to roof so many of these guys ended with no cars they since many sold them for different personal reasons...

Too funny. The guy who sold me his SD4K a few years ago bought a BLNR to replace it. Uncommon for common. Good to see someone go in the opposite path.

I couldn't agree with you more, Mario. But I suspect you already know that. I'm no fan of the gaudy colored BLNR. Love the subtle design of the SD4K!!! Just a perfect modern tool watch!!!

Blnr discontinued? Part 2

Beautiful SD4k, love the matte dial and overall shape of the case.

Gotta love the BLNR bashing threads, is this thread another one of them??

Yep that pic says it all!!! To each his own- I don't own a tool box and not much interest in a tool watch either. Enjoy your piece

Of all the GMT’s the BLNR I dare say is the coolest
and nicest GMT !!!!

The SD4K gives me a different feel though ...
it may look toolish but I’ll leave that to the
Sub C LN or Explorer 2.. Great Shot Faz....

Hey I sold my BLNR for personal reasons and I do enjoy it more on others wrists than my own. I do miss it from time to time but I am in the same boat as yourself. I will never pay over msrp! I can get one from my AD if i requested it but I've moved on and the only other models I will consider are the Sky D (blue dial) or the Daytona (white dial). Happy for you! Congrats on your beautiful SD4k!

I’d take the SD4K or SD43 over the BLNR any day of the week, good choice Mario!

All I can say is you will regret selling the BLNR. Maybe not now, but once the honeymoon with the SD is over. My2c.

I have dumped the BLNR a total of 3 times - To be honest, the ONLY thing that made me get it the last time around were the rumors of it being discontinued. I'm so over the piece.

I know that it is a crowd favorite but I have tried and tried and it still does not do anything for me. For whatever reason the Sub C makes me happy. I still regret not having gotten a SD4K when I had the chance to pick it up BNIB for under $8K but such is life.

Enjoy!!

Carlos, I enjoyed the BLNR as well ...
loved it while I had it ... I missed it for awhile
and wanted another SS sports model .
My AD last November had mentioned they have
one more SD4K and if I wanted something different
or more unique to get it ... He could’ve ordered me
a BLNR again since it was the same AD I purchased
my first one from but not at a discount this time ...

So I took the SD4K plunge at msrp of course
and never looked back ! Couldn’t be happier !!!
