A watch can be lost doing anything but riding a jet ski my increase the risk, what happens if the watch wearer falls off?? Hitting the water COULD cause the clasp to come undone. Lose a watch in a lake/ocean and it may never be found. Personally, I wouldn't wear my Sub or Datejust water skiing, jet skiing or even snow skiing. That's my two cents worth.

Don’t even need a jet ski. Nasty waves and ignoring the lifeguards by going too far out did it to me.

That said, I still do everything with my watches on.

Okay now I want to hear the story. You lost a watch in the ocean?

Go 4 it, if water leaks in just make sure you have it serviced asap especially salt water, only costs around $700-800 but may cost more if parts are corroded.

My only concern would be the clasp popping open and losing it, as far as the the beating it's always up for it tough timepiece.

When on bikes or off road, Impact activities I always recommend a NATO in case of a spring bar failure.

My recent story with a Pelagos... I went boating with my dad over memorial weekend. At the swimming hole, I dove in probably 20 times from the front of the boat. During 1 of the 20 dives, I felt my flip lock open along with the deployant buckle in mid-dive (under water). Luckily, I was able to grab my watch with my right hand and resurfaced. I was really disappointed. Even though we are talking about different watches, the point of my story is flip locks can come undone when hit at odd angles. I think your watch would stay on under most circumstances, but I'm now hesitant.

Take it easy,I’d be more worried that it might fly off than it getting water damaged.

BLNR and JET SKIS

What about an LN on a boat? It’s a pilot to watch won’t the waves screw it up?
