Believe it or not, last week at a local AD I saw a brand new one in their showcase. The AD is ‘Bhindi Jewelers’ in Newark, CA. (Yes the MK1 version. )
I suggest looking at the Trusted Sellers here and looking into a used one. They are like new with warranty left and provide some savings for you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I would say highly unlikely to find a NOS in London given how long the Mk2 has been available coupled with the SS shortage of late. Can’t hurt making a few calls though.

I think UK demand for the Explorer could be the highest in the world (why do Englishmen insist on trekking to all of those remote places, anyhow?). For that reason, I would be astounded if a UK dealer is still sitting on a new Mk.1
I say look for a really nice pre-owned watch. A quick search of sources on line will produce dozens to choose from in a matter of minutes. |

Could you tell us why you do you prefer the MK1? Nothing wrong with that, I am just curious.

London, UK I presume?
We have a London, Ontario, Canada (not to be mistaken for Ontario, NY).. Easy to find in various Ontario, Canada AD's.. |

I've seen several pre-owned available, but no WG Explorers in ADs for some time.

Fraz , i just prefer the white gold numerals rather than the lumed ones .
randomguy , yes london UK , do you know of any ADs in the UK that may have them ? Explorer-P , i may well have to buy a pre-owned explorer if i can't find a new one. i am not in any rush so i can wait while i look around and try my luck . |

I saw on at an AD here in San Diego less than a year ago. I presume they are out there, but trying to fine one local would be a nonstarter if I was you.

Or you can look at some of the on-line grey dealers (jomashop, watchmaxx, authentic watches).
