Im a patiently waiting member right here! I've mentally prepared myself that I will have to sell off my 16710 to afford the 126710, but its okay because I probably wont see a 126710 for a few years. I've never actually purchased a watch from an AD before, and the only relationship I have with my AD is buying my wedding rings from them. I only got on the list 4 weeks ago as well, so it will probably be a while.
Good luck to all those waiting!

This thread should theoretically include most of the entire forum. Alas, here I am.

I’m on a list at a non boutique AD which means they receive product later and fewer than the boutiques. 4 salesmen each with their own list and me being number “2” on one of those; AD sits in one of the wealthy areas in DFW and sells a lot of Pateks and other big ticket items , I’m not in that league but do have a purchase history with my AD. They claim to have not received one yet, who knows when or if I will ever see one.

Hilarious thread. I am waiting for mine but my AD that I have a strong relationship is hardly getting any of the tough to get watches. Still waiting for ceramic Daytona but they are getting a black one in next week but I want the white dial. Love the new BLRO on jubilee but I am not holding my breath that I will see it soon.

I’m in. I called to “my” AD (I got from them 2 Rolexes) two minutes later right after Baselworld release and in result I’m 25th in the list. I guess this is a BS

Biggest variable to the waiting list
Add the biggest variable of all into the equation, ADs hard to get Rolex as a means to move other inventory. Big ticket jewelry means you move to the front of the line. I hope Rolex enjoys helping sell other people’s products. One solution would be to require a name for the orders. Bmw Mercedes all of the high end car companies require a customer name and demographics to put production at the head of the line leaving the nonsold cars for filling in production gaps. Rolex definition of an exclusive brand is not only do you have to be able to afford their watch but you have to be able to afford buying something else at the same time you may or may not have wanted. Now that places their product in an exclusive clientele. Just like Ferraris. You want one you will drive away first in a Maserati or you will never be on the list for a new one.

My local AD seemed to be under a bit of pressure when he handed me, my 'registration of interest'........I'm not holding my breath.
Looks like he was able to purchase, everything he needed. |

My AD just let me know that he got one in yesterday (I have been bugging him) and said someone else is picking it up....
Such a tease.... |

I was on the Wempe list in NYC from the day Rolex announced the new GMT, but I was just told they abolished the list and are only providing the watches to "VIP" clients.
Thanks, Wempe, for NOT letting me know earlier and for wasting my time. You have officially lost me as a customer. |

Fast forward to today .... the list has been eliminated. Note that I've bought four watches, two Rolexes, from them through the years. Never again. |
