Submariner 114060 fit
Hi guys, I’ve measured my wrist and it comes in at around 7”, I’ve always thought I’ve got a skinny wrist but this seems around average, it’s of a flat shape. How do you think the new submariner 114060 would fit on this ?
I’m ashamed to admit I bought a replica ‘hulk’ whilst in Thailand and have found it recently and tried it on and it seems to fit perfectly, it’s in my opinion a really good copy although still a copy, I’m guessing that the replicas aren’t perfect in build quality they should be almost identical size wise so it would give me a good idea on the fit. Please don’t judge on buying the replica, I’m in the process on buying the real thing but needed some advice first as I haven’t actually tried the real deal on. Thanks in advance |

You're not the first person to buy a replica to test the look and feel of a watch before spending $8,000 on a real One. It's not a bad idea. The problem is the people that buy a replica and then wear it pretending it's real. A 114060 on a 7" wrist should be a pretty perfect size. If it feels too big go with an older 14060, if it feels too small then consider an SD43. And as soon as you decide, enjoy destroying the replica in a fun way.

Haha once the real one arrives (I’m on a few waiting lists and ready to pull the trigger) I may take a big hammer to it

My wrist is is just shy of 7 inches and the 114060 fits perfect. The glide lock clasp helps with fine tuning the fit once the bracelet has been sized.

That’s one of the reasons why I prefer the 114060 over the 14060, the glide lock system
Thanks |

I think the sub would fit your wrist just perfectly. And don’t worry about the replica, sometimes it’s worth trying before you go buying.

6.33" wrist here with a flat shape but increases to 10.75" at the widest part of the forearm, so even a 41mm DJ or a 42mm Planet Ocean looks perfectly fine on me due to the arm shape. The Sub and its maxi case looks superb, too.
P.S. - Don't encourage the counterfeit market. |

As previously said it’s not something I’m proud of, and I respect your opinion, and being older and wiser I share your view. But just to be clear I wasn’t asking to discuss the replica/fake, I was asking about wrist size in relation to the submariner.
But I respect your view all the same |

Here it is on my 6.75” wrist, for reference (at an AD): I ended up getting the 116610LN, but it’s virtually the same watch so here it is from a wider angle: I think it fits me well so you shouldn’t have a problem with it on your 7” wrist. |

That’s a great reference picture. And I agree it does look good on you.
Thanks very much for that |

Congrats on the LN. I'll bet it feels more substantial and heavier than the replica,
hehe. Enjoy !! Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk |
