Which watch is flashier!

Yellow gold sub sunburst blue dial (116618LB) or yellow gold DD40 (228238).... thanks in advance for any opinions!

The blue on the sub really calls attention to itself; however in my opinion, the fluted bezel on the Day Date 40 definitely makes it flashier.

DD40 I’d say.

DD40 is flashier, but the LB will still attract lots of attention.

DD40 is for sure flashier, but as others have said the Blue dial/bezel of the bluesy will attract attention.

Fluted bezel is always the flashiest as it throws light like a strobe. (thats a good thing)

Those are cash not flash..

The two tone 116613LB Submariner (not on your list) is flashier than both - even if you had both of those on the same wrist. If it's flash you're after...there is no substitute.

I'd say dd40 a bit more with how the president bracelet and fluted bezel are designed. But the yellow sub is still flashy as hell. The polished center links are very shiny especially when light bounces off of them.

DD40 YG, the fluted bezel and 'President' bracelet design really make it pop, IMO .. YG Sub LB will still get a lot of attention but not as flashy as the DD40

I can’t imagine a watch purchase based on “flashy”.

The sub is far flashier, it's far bigger and the blue makes it just pop. Nothing grabs attention like an 18k blue sub.

IMO the blue and gold on the sub makes it flashier. It's a slightly bigger/thicker watch than the DD40 as well.

The DD40. The fluted bezel dances in the light and the cut romans on the dial do the same. Also the Presi bracelet is just awesome!

Both are flashy and desirable but with a dark face (e.g. black) I reckon the DD40 would be my choice (probably, maybe)

I’m very familiar w/ both watches...but I personally feel the Sub garners more attention in this case!
