Wow - GMT II M Serial @ 20% off
Was doing some Christmas shopping at the local mall and spottd a Pepsi GMT II in the window. I knew it couldn't be a M serial with the 3186 movement as I had looked all over for one two months ago. Had to ask though and it was an M serial. Manager said it came in with a shipment last week. The store was having a 20% off sale so I jokingly asked if the discount would apply to Rolexes and they said absolutely...everything in the store plus 0% financing for 18 months!
Now the dilemma...to buy or not. I already found a "Coke" GMT!! |

Run back to the store. Don't look back, don't tell the wife.

Get it. The color of red and blue is so nice plus the 3186 and 20% off. The best watch to pair with jeans.

Yea, I don't really have the funds right now either. But I don't think I can pass it up. Always seems to work that way. When I want a certain something, I can't find it and when I am not looking and not ready to buy, it falls in my lap!!

Probably. Several people have reported other ADs doing that as well.

I am also on the hunt for my first Rolex and was offered 20% off an Explorer or Sub. My guess is these discounts may extend into 2009. I would think now (before the holidays) would be the least likely time to discount. I am about half way there money wise. Looking at a new Explorer white, green sub or pre-loved GMT in black.
