Daytona Case Question
I was wondering if anyone can tell me if the case on the newer model Daytona's is thinner than the cases on the Sub's and DateJust's. From the photos I have seen it appears that the Daytona is the thinnest watch that Rolex makes (outside of the celenni series of course). I also read that the older Daytona's had a thicker case than the newer one's.

To answer your question I compared my 16233 to me 116520 and the case itself is not thinner on the DAytona, BUT the case back is the flattest of all my Rolexes (Daytona, DJ, GMT2 and SD) SD is the thickest and DJ is the thinnest with the GMT2 and Daytona in the middle. Overall the DJ is the thinnest of my 4 Rolexes. |
