5 digit bracelet is just fine

New owner of 16600 SD here. I was so worried about the 5 digit bracelet and clasp. Let me reassure you if you are too, this thing is super comfortable. Plenty of fine adjustment in the clasp. It has a little rattle to it when unclasped but once clasp is closed, solid as a rock. Its light and comfortable, i like it alot and have owned two 6 digit rolex sports models with “better” bracelets/clasps.

Agreed! Nothing to fear with 4 or 5 digit bracelets. I prefer the slimmer profile of the 5 digit clasp.

Congrats on your recent pick up. I have 4 and 6 digit sea dwellers myself.

Agreed. The 6-digit clasp is too long on the divers for those of us with slimmer wrists. I definitely prefer the 5-digit bracelets over the 6-digit. This is coming from someone with a WG blue sub 116619 and a Platinum Daytona.

Could not agree more. However, if you think you like the 5 digits, wait until you try a 4 digit on!

In the hand the ceramics feel nicer and worth the asking price. Glidelock is sweet.

On the wrist I prefer the lighter weight and comfort is the same.

I went from 114060 to 14060M.

Nothing wrong with the older style bracelets, they’ve been in use for decades.

Even my nearly 30 year old 16233's Jubilee bracelet is in remarkable condition. Unlike many, I do NOT like the new bracelets, particularly the clasp and PCLs. And personally, I love the rattle!

I'm very happy I've got the Rolex watches I wanted and haven't bought one since 2006.

Love the 5-digit bracelets, especially the Rolex name stamped in the steel.

Why on these bracelets does the clasp have a pin hole adjustment (the smallest setting) that is unusable? Its like a hole for nothing?

I agree. The bracelet definitely rattles off wrist but once it’s on, it’s totally fine.

Yes it is but I love six digit bracelets with glidelock clasp too.

16610 is my everyday and one of the only things I actually wish was upgraded was the bracelet, to be honest.

Chose tried and true (14060M) over new and “improved” (114060).

The ironic thing is that the old style bracelets have been put through more abuse and hardship than virtually any six digit bracelet will ever see!

Also, if you really want to, you can fit a later bracelet to your 16610.
It fits and works just fine.
