Rolex Datejust 41 advice

Hello!

I am new to the forums and Rolex watches.

I am thinking of purchasing at Datejust 41 with a fluted bezel, oystersteel, Black dial and Jubilee bracelet (Reference 126334).

Retail price is $9450, but I am wonder what would be a reasonable price for this lovely watch?

Thanks for your help!

I still don't think this applies to Datejusts. I'd still want a little discount. And if I lived in a high sales tax state like CA I'd strongly consider a TS or an out of state AD.

One way to determine if a price is "reasonable" is to see what the piece is selling for from a TS. For example: https://davidsw.com/product/rolex-12...-stick-dial-3/.

So, you can get it a little cheaper, but not much. So really, is it worth fighting over a few hundred bucks if that's the piece you really want? I love DJ 41s. It's a watch you will never have to take off your wrist.

I agree... someone like DavidSW is a great reference point.. if you want the AD experience, then find one and maybe they can get around that price.. although msrp is probably expected, it’s not impossible to find discounts.. good luck!

New piece from a trusted seller at TRF, maybe a little savings at best. But, if you can get comfortable with a pre-owned piece from the same trusted seller with plenty of warranty left, the savings can add up quickly.

What resellers would you trust?

I got my DJ41 at a pretty decent discount only a few months after the stainless steel models were shown at Basel. Nowadays, I think even Datejusts are MSRP with little wiggle room.

I had the David SW experience when I got my DJ 41. I saved some money, had it in a day and couldn't be happier with it. Can't hurt to give him a call.

9450 out the door is reasonable. Just be willing to walk. At the same time, be ready to throw down the money

Technically it's inferior

Also does not come with jubilee as an option which the OP wants.

Both are fine.
