Greetings and Introductions

Hello all, and Merry Christmas!

I'm Richard, another new member, and wanted to introduce myself. To begin, a big THANKS and appreciation for the wealth of infromation and expertise.

My experience with Rolex began about 4 years ago when I finally purchased a new two-tone blue face Sub. About a year later my wife surprised me with a two-tone Datejust for our anniversary. She liked the Sub, but thought I should have something a bit nicer for work and formal functions. And, you can't argue with logic like that!

So this year I surprised her with a Lady's two-tone datejust for Christmas (white mother of pearl dial with diamonds). She trumped that and REALLY surprised me with a gold Daytona (black dial and black sub dials)! WOW! What a wonderful watch!---and the wife isn't bad either!!!

With all these watches, I thought I should learn more about them and found this forum. Thanks again!

My wife and I live near Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Welcome Richard

Photos are great to share if you have any?

3 Rolex in 4 years, that's pretty good going, the only problem is that many say this forum is like a big problem for their bank accounts as it does tend to make one want to buy another, and another................and another.

Enjoy

Thanks, but it's not the everrose, just the regular 18k. The picture looks a bit off color on my computer also.

Well, living at the beach doesn't suk!

But no, we're not very close to Dafuskie. Myrtle Beach is about an hour and a half on the other (North) side of Charleston.

Thanks for the warm welcome! Here's a picture of the Daytona. Sorry about the quality, this thing looks much more impressive in real life.
