Poll: Best Oyster Bracelet for SRP Turtle

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to pick up an oyster for my SRP777 and I'm wondering what the best one is. I have a Strapcode Super Jubilee and I'm impressed by the craftsmanship, but I'm more of an oyster guy. I also have an Uncle Seiko President on my 6139 and it's very comfortable. I don't have first hand experience with the OEM Seiko oyster, but it must be a good product, right?

Thoughts, opinions, suggestions welcome.

The stock seiko is the best imo, i sent the strapcode back as it was thinner and tapered too much.
Only issue with the stock is the collar and pin system is a bit fiddly but once its done it performs well.
cheers

I'm not a fan of the OEM bracelet that comes on the SRP77X. I have a Super 3D Oyster on my Alpinist and like it very much. However, my favorite bracelet for the Turtle is the Uncle Seiko Z199. I love the look and feel of it and also the pronounced taper.

I agree that the jubilee looks great. I’d love to have the oyster option though. So far the opinions aren’t conclusive. The OEM is a bit more expensive in my case as they aren’t readily available in Canada. I’d pay more if I knew it was worth the extra.

BTW, is it just the lighting or is your bezel insert faded? It looks really nice. Is it a mod?

Thanks and yes, the insert was faded as I was going for a retro look along with the Z199 bracelet and the high top crystal.
