Any members own a Maserati?

I was just curious, I saw a Grand Tourismo the other day and it looked and sounded unbelievably beautiful. It is not often that I see them on the roads; what do you think of them without mentioning depreciation?

Isn't Maserati the most unreliable brand in existence?

Not even close! It goes to Bentley. Look at depreciation of Bentley cars, it speaks volumes.

Isn't Maserati all the repair costs of a Ferrari yet resale of, well, a Maserati?

Its a status symbol car, I have never met a Maserati enthusiast who continues to buy them over and over for the love of the brand. They lease cheap and offer huge discounts on new ones for good reason.

That is what I have heard as well.

I've had a couple pass me the last two times I've gone for a run and the sound is most excellent. Styling doesn't at all grab me like a Ferrari does, however. Sounds like no one buys one a second time. I'm surprised they haven't run out of customers.

Barnum is right... one born every minute. Same for Bentley cars too. Even at the 'cheap' used prices, you get what you pay for (big trouble, big repair bills, etc).

I guess that's the sign of a strong brand. Even though your product sucks and is uber expensive, people buy it!

I wonder if the marketing teams have internal presentations where they show graphs depicting poor quality but increasing sales?

They aren't that great.
I've seen several review by Doug DeMuro on youtube and he strongly suggests to avoid. They are overpriced for their value.

do not do it. with a 20 percent discount my friend paid 3200 for a break job on his quatroporte. coming from an m6 with bmw service package he was not too thrilled.

other friend had one back in the 2000s and the gps was junk. he brought it in and they couldnt fix it. the GM asked him why he wanted the GPS and said what you dont know where you are going?

maserati is just a cheaper Ferrari. except in a Ferrari you are driving a Ferrari. the feeling is night and day.

I see them around me all the time.

I love the look and sound as well.

I don’t have any real experience with them or reliability though.

What I do know is if you buy used, you will likely getting screaming deal. I was very serious about them before I got my GTS. And the pre owned deals are very tempting to say the least.

Was this before you switched to the current profit percentage?

Did you blame Chrysler for that?

I live in Italy and see a Maserati Hearse almost weekly. A pretty impressive vehicle!

Look it up...

Today I saw a disabled Range Rover on a flat bed tow truck on the highway. Basically, it reminded me of your average Maserati. The nicest thing about the car is the Trident badge on the front grille.
The rest is a big meh for the money or reliability.

Mine does 185.

But I lost my license, now I don’t drive.

Just kidding. I wouldn’t own one. Buddy of mine has one. Not sure which one it is. It is fast and sounds awesome. But the repair bills are stupid. And there will be repair bills.

We rented one for a weekend, the Ghiibi. Enjoyed it, but the throaty exhaust got to be a bit much driving around the neighborhood. The electronics were from the Chrysler 300 parts bin. Enjoyed the drive, but not for us. Great for a weekend romp though.

I know the Ghirli is complete trash. The Quattroporte is pure class. And embarrassing reliability

I have 4 friends who all own a grand turismo, I think the oldest one is a 2014 and newer among the group. They are gorgeous and very imposing cars. Love the sounds and they are all enamored with them. They all have good things to say. Possibly they are the newer generation and that makes a difference. Owning an italian car is something that if you can, do it once in your life. Buy a one year old pre owned or really squeeze the dealer, they do depreciate the first couple years.
