SS Professional Series Sightings

I think it will be a great idea if we all come together and help one another to locate a SS professional model at an AD by reporting the sighting on this thread.

I'll start...

Toronto Canada area
116710LN and 216570 on Aug 11th at DC Taylor
126660 on Aug 12th at Raffi Waterloo
114060, 126660, 216570 and 214270 on August 18th at Raffi Cambridge

I saw an Ivory Billed Woodpecker in Arkansas in 2006, but I can't be completely sure.

Hmm I was wondering why wasn't something like this already out there! There should be a section for available watches at AD. Then again watches go so fast that they'd be gone before you'd have a chance to update.

Agree but worth a try. Any help is better than none. I wish this was started before I bought so many DJ. LOL.

Honestly, unless something happens to the macroeconomic picture, nothing is going to change with Rolex for the time being.

The absolute best you'll find in a case right now is a SubC, and even those are pretty rare at this point.

You aren't ever going to walk in and see a Daytona/Pepsi/Sky-D/Hulk/SD43/Batman in the case, just not happening. If you do, consider it the one in a million.

You are right, as all those hot references are actually in the AD's safe in the back waiting to be sold to their best customers, or grey dealers willing to pay over list.

With a million watches made a year, Rolex should not be hard to come by. Just look at the hundreds of unworn examples at your local grey dealers to see everything that THEY can get from the AD's.

Actually my friend bought a blnr that was in the case. While I was calling around for a hulk, they said they had a sd43 in the case but would only sell if I was in store

The SD43 in a case was posted by a member here about Mayor's in either GA or FL, I don't remember. IIRC, a poster called like an hour later and it was gone. I'm guessing you must have seen that thread and called too.

Where was this AD with a Batman in a case in 2018? Curious about that.

I got my first Rolex (BLNR) at an AD in PA sitting in a case back in May. I was looking for SD43 at the time but couldn't resist and took it home.

I seen a SubC in the case for about a week before it was sold, couldn't believe it as well as the AD, but most sit in the back sight unseen.

I have been to 3 ADs in My area recently, and I have only seen a black GMT. I believe it only lasted for a few days.

I finally got the new BLNR from my AD after buying a few other watches from them. They have many SS models sitting in the safe its just matter of them wanting to sell it to you.

I just can't wrap my head around this. It might be that my brain doesn't want to do the work - but I truly can't understand how this mass produced item is so scarce we need to have threads on where to find them in the world!

I was at the park the other day with my kids, and counted 6 Submariners (not including my SD43) on people at that exact moment.

They're everywhere except right in front of us!

I think your seeing 6 subs in one random place is your answer, many more people can afford and are buying them! Before the last few years, you’d never see 6 subs so close together in a single random place.

Personally I think it’s great for mechanical watches in a digital age. They are more and more becoming jewelry than a time keeping device. I own many apple watches, but they don’t come close to wearing a Rolex or other luxury watch.

Is this a fact or speculation? I do think they keep at least one of each hot models for the right customer but didn't they think they'd keep like 4 BLNRs
