Video Review - THAT DIAL Grand Seiko SBGH267

Hey guys,

If you like macro footage, you'll love this video.
I take a close look over one of this year's hot releases from Grand Seiko and a watch with one of the best dials in the game.

https://youtu.be/RLCbprMdxkQ

Hope you enjoy,
Cheers

Great colour of that dial and I'm sure the details are stunning, however are they visible for the naked eye at normal viewing distance? I'd get really annoyed seeing those small G and S all the time.

I only really notice when the light hits it to be honest, then I'm staring for a few extra seconds and no longer looking at the time ha ha...

I really like this, just wish it were 40 or 41mm instead of 39. Do you think it will retain value/go up given its limited edition status?

Hi mate,
I wouldn't let the size worry you. I typically like a larger watch, and have 7.5" wrists. I find it near perfection.
I honestly think that GS as a brand is on the way up and this will eventually translate to the used market :)

Cheers

Video Review - THAT DIAL Grand Seiko SBGH267

It’s a good video from a macro perspective, but the guy made several mistakes.

In the beginning he got the model number wrong. To be more accurate, he got the letters and numbers right, but he got the order wrong. Later in the clip he used the correct model number.

His second goof occurred when he mentioned the case material of the two pricier versions. He said one is made in gold, and the other in aluminium. Obviously, it’s not aluminium.

Third mistake was the lug width, it’s 19mm not 20. That’s important if you’re somebody like me that has to use straps.

The fourth error was made when he talked about the bracelet. It’s not a three piece link, it’s a five piece link. The more entry level models have a three piece link oyster like bracelet, the pricier ones have the five link speedy style.

All in all a good quality macro video, thanks for posting.

Aluminium? Lol. Watch again. Platinum and Gold is stated.
Lug width - Error noted in the description :(
Bracelet Being 5 piece - once again error noted in description :(

I've been really suprised at the positive comments etc around GS in the comments.
Obviously there are some trolling comments, but overall the appreciation for the this brand is strong.
Especially considering the earlier % of subscribers is built up of Rolex and Tudor fans
It's so good to see.
