Hello all,

I am putting up for sale my LNIB Zenith El Primero Defy 21 in titanium . The watch was purchased new at an AD here in Charlotte NC in early 2018. I am selling because my grail watch became available and I could not pass up the opportunity!

The watch:

Come with all boxes and papers and is still under the factory 3-year warranty (warranty card included)

Includes 2 OEM Straps (black alligator and “tropical” style rubber

This watch has two escapements. One powering the time at an impressive 5hrz and the second powering the chronograph and a hypnotizing 50hrz. The watch has a power reserve of 50hrs and the chrono power reserve is 50mins. This truly is an amazing watch and the titanium construction means it is super light on the wrist while still maintaining great wrist presence. The lug to lug length is remarkable short making this watch easily work on smaller wrists.

“The El Primero 21 features two separate escapements, each with a balance spring made of a new patented material, Carbon-Matrix Carbon Nanotube (say that five times fast). One escapement is just for the time and the other just for the chronograph, with the first running at 36,000 vph and the latter running at 360,000 vph. This means that when the chronograph is in motion, the seconds hand runs around the dial once per second. The seconds are then counted on the 60-second register at six o'clock and the minutes are counted on the 30-minute register at three o'clock. Due to the amount of energy that it takes to run a chronograph at 360,000 vph, the chronograph function can only run for up to 50 minutes, hence the chronograph power reserve at 12 o'clock.”
