Ordered the 116719BLRO this week
To celebrate a goal achieved, I went ahead and bought this grail watch.
Dealer said it will take anywhere from 1 month to 12 months to arrive and he didn’t have a clue. Hoping to post some pictures here in a month! Anyways thanks for reading my obvious brag post lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hopefully it comes in quickly. I would think a PM reference could be easily sourced from AD.

They are discontinued but stock still available in some countries as far as I understand. Aurum group in the UK don’t have any and can’t get any. They are the largest Rolex AD’S here.
Great choice by the way. |

FYI, the blue version debuted at Basel '18, so many dealers just haven't gotten it yet. |

Good choice. I’m wearing mine today, although it hasn’t had much wrist time since I got my Tudor...

I know the word ‘discontinued’ is virtually a profanity here but before buying my blue dial BLRO l tried to order from my usual AD (Aurum group, largest UK Rolex suppliers) and was told not only did they not have a single piece in any of their stores, they were told by Rolex they were discontinued so couldn’t even get one from Rolex.
Exactly the same story from another large UK Rolex AD I deal with. Coincidence? I think not. I ended up buying from a grey supplier who had a brand new piece with stickers. Saved a few shekels too I might add. Not sure what the long term goal is. As Tyler mentioned maybe they will start pushing them through again soon with the new movements etc? Only Rolex knows. For now, I’m sure there will be stock at some AD’s but if they don’t have any, they won’t be able to order from Rolex. |

Is there any precedent for such a quick disco of a mainstream Rolex model? |

Honestly no idea what Rolex’s decision making process was with this one. One thing is for sure, this may go down as one of the shortest production runs ever. Of course I may be wrong so I defer to more knowledgeable Rolex experts out there. |
