Icon20 ⛳ TRF Golfers ~NEW Group~

I did a search and did not find a group for the Golfers here on TRF... So, I started one!

If you are interested please join the group by clicking this link and requesting to join. https://www.rolexforums.com/group.php?groupid=78

It would be fun to plan some Golf GTG's with other TRF Members. I have reached out to Torrey Pines and think two foursomes in Mid-January when the course is in peak condition prior to the Farmers Open might be an outing worth planning.

I will communicate this potential Golf GTG trough the NEW TRF Golf Group.

Please tell other Golfers on TRF you know to Join this group and Bump this thread!

I fully support the gatherings and game but can not join, I have given up the dastardly-sport and only pick up a club at my father inlaws behest LOL

Fun. I’ve been playing a lot in the past couple of years. Just “joined”.

Now where do I actually find the group other than clicking through that link?

I actually just started learning this past Spring.

Not so much for the love of the game ( sorry ) but more so for work purposes since I'm in a " male dominated " industry and gotta be " one of the boys " ugh??!!

Thanks for setting that up Larry. Count me in.

I belong to a club about 45 minutes west of Boston. It would be great to get together with TRF members and have some home and home golf.

Grew up golfing and still live in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. Home of the PGA Tour Headquarters, the Player's Championship and the world famous 17th hole!

Let me know if you are in the area for the Tournament or a round .

Handicap got down to single digits before we had kids 6 years ago. Been playing since I was a kid. They're getting older now so getting in 10 rounds a year or so now...but not quite as good as I used to be.
As a point of comparison - played just under 100 rounds the summer before my first was born.

Great idea Larry! I am in. I believe I will be traveling if we put something together, no one wants to come to Yakima WA....although our course is highly rated and has a island green http://www.appletreeresort.com/

More addicted to golf than watches. Just love the game because it is soooo hard. Was down to a 3 in the spring, but back up to 6

This had to be exciting.... golfing partners - both "hole in one" one after the other! 1 in 17 million odds!

I just started playing, and been going to a 9 hole par-3 course. Goal is to get to a 36 consistently before moving up.

Friend invited me to play a "real" course a few weeks back, shot a 119 (par 70) and that was with very creative scoring.

Long ways to go, but a LOT of room for improvement.

ALWAYS room for improvement with this ridiculous game. That’s why we love it!

The first time I played with my neighborhood group, I shot somewhere in the neighborhood of 115. Took me like 4 tries to get off the first tee. Now I’m shooting low/mid 80’s on the same course. Only took two years!! Haha

Great idea. I played in high school but that was 20+ years ago. I'm lucky to get in a few rounds/year now due to kids' activities on weekends, etc. But I love the game and want to get back into playing more often.

I like to get out and hit a few hosel rockets when I can. Would love to play torrey pines if I didn't live on the other side of the world.

Off to the city of lights this weekend, final day of the Ryder cup. Should be epic.
