Submariner 116613LB or Skydweller Blue face SS?

I would like to ask the forum their opinion as I have an opportunity to purchase the Skydweller Blue Face stainless steel model but to fund this I would need to sell by Submariner Blue face 116613lb bi metal.

Is this a good move as I do like both but one will have to go as I am torn between them both as they have an equal attraction on my opinion?

The sky is a bigger, thicker more dressy watch Imo. Try it on before buying.

Agree! Or if you get the blue SkyDweller which a difficult piece to get, just don’t forget to eventually get a Sub.

I would rather have a bluesy than a Sky, but that's me.

Now, if you want to try one out, and the Sky is brand new @ retail, then you could easily buy it and then if you decide it's not for you and you'd rather have the sub (in other words, come to your senses ) than you can easily flip the Sky and certainly not lose anything.

Personally, I prefer the skyD of the two as I love the complications. But you should buy what you like and not just get because it’s rare etc.

Always hated the bluesy until I saw one in person. Perfect example of how pictures can deceive. Opposite with the Daytona. Love the pics, not so much in person.

If you are asking for preference, I would rather have the Skydweller of those two choices. I am a Sub Guy, but not a huge fan of the two tone

Both are great looking pieces, SkyD way more functional. Unreal bargain with the annual calendar, GMT functions. Impossible to source at retail. I love the bluesy too, but this is an easy call IMO

Keep the sub for now. Unless if you can get the sky d retail. A sub IMO is a more comfy piece to wear daily. My 2 tone sky was heavy

I wish they would make a TT blue SkyD. That would be my perfect watch. Although, I am strongly considering selling my Bluesy when I get the Blue SkyD call.

I would say sky dweller just based on the fact that I am trying to get one myself so I might be a little biased towards it lol I'm trying to get it as my next Rolex
