In a nut shell the answer is no its a purely mechanical process. Now some change a little before midnight some slightly after or even a few minutes after all perfectly normal

My Sub-date changes eveyday at 00:01
I think it depends on how the hands have been installed in respect the dial... It is supposed to be perfect because the process of putting the hand is robotized... Last edited by icomm; 8 January 2009 at 07:56 PM.. Reason: . |

Myself now at mature age I am normally fast asleep at midnight. But as long as date changes by morning and I am still alive and breathing thats good enough for me.
