My 2019 shortlist

The next three watches are on my shortlist for the first half of 2019 (as you know, I tend to purchase two watches each year):
First, the Nezumi Baleine at 400 Euro. A somewhat smaller watch in typical 1960s style. The strap is horrible i.m.o. but I will replace it with one of my own.

Second, the G. Gerlach Enigma at 435 Euro. Early 1970s cushion style, the bracelet is extra but included in the price.

Third and last, the C.R.E.P.A.S. Tornado at 575 Euro. Another homage watch by quality company C.R.E.P.A.S., this one is based on the relatively unknown Sandoz Typhoon, one of the first 100 BAR watches.

All prices include shipping and all companies are European based so no import duties. I don't want to spend more than 600 Euro on a single watch any more but there are exceptions. (To acquire a somewhat more expensive watch but still keep within the budget I might be forced to buy used). So one of these three it will be, I lean toward the last one because it's a bit special (especially the case back)

It's not every day that you see "as you know, I tend to purchase two watches each year" in someone's first post.

Watches are not too high on the list next year, but I'll probably get a Speedmaster hesalite, I want one for a long time now...

Interesting watches but is it a feeble attempt to bypass seller requirements.

I’ll level with you - I didn’t know either!

As you all know I tend to have a coffee and toast with marmite at 8.30am on a Sunday. It’s now 8.26am so I’m off to make it. Chow.
