I'd be up for PVDing a watch, but only a watch I don't wear a lot. Must be careful with it.
Scratches stick out like a sore thumb. You won't hurt the value of your watch, so do it if you like Heru.

Personally I wouldn't do any mods on the case. The only mod is straps of course.

No Polished case is easy to remove scratches.PVD ~ dont like the look and if it scratches, well thats that !! Unless you PVD it again.Just not practical.

No TR, dont do this.
It will cheapen the watch. Save up and hopefully they will introduce more pvd models soon. |

Most people that don't like PVD cases don't like Panerai, that is found on all the boards.
If they can DLC it, you will love it. The DLC is scratch proof and tougher than hell. plus it looks so killer in the metal. Here it is on a 005, and I love this look and throw two up in the air to any who doesn't.

Cost was around $320 usd. The look is killer and like I said, the dlc is tough as nails.
The look is stealth and I love it.

Jack at IWW did that one. He takes about 2-3 months, but his work is stellar.

TR, just wanna share my personal experience here.
I have 111 DLC-ed. I love it, love it and LOVE it. However, I found it's not for my daily wear due to its unique color. Please take that as your consideration when deciding to PVD your watch. Another thing, with DLC or PVD PAM, I found it takes a bit effort to find the perfect strap combo :) Other than that, PVD or not PVD, that's the question Allow me to share several shots of my DLC-ed 111.

TR I voted yes, but only because you have a few other models to mix it up with. I don't think I would keep the DLC'd as my one and only PAM...
Oyster that third pic is AWESOME! Love the look of DLC and the contrast of a lighter strap. |
