Got a bracelet for my Diver. Not sure I'm loving it
I finally was able to source a bracelet for my 15703 Diver last week. Wanted to get one so I could consider this more of a year-round piece than just warmer weather. While I like it, I'm not sure I "love" it. Call me crazy, but I think the bracelet on the 15400 is just a little "nicer". Maybe it's how crazy the angles/cuts are on that to the more rounded finish on this one. Also, even though the normal Royal Oak also has a SS bezel, this without the black strap now seems a bit too much steel.
Dunno. Anybody else have second thoughts about the Diver on a bracelet?

I agree with your sentiments but it is always good to have options.

I absolutely did. I loved the bracelet. I do believe I like the RO bracelet abbot more and it’s way more usable. The ROO bracelet although different looks good as well. But for me it was way too heavy. After less than two months I took a bath on it and moved it on. My dive now sits on the black survivor strap or gray QEII strap. They both make it look fantastic. I’m looking at the 42mm ROO in titanium and I’d like a titanium bracelet for that. It’s half the weight of the ss bracelet.

Yes, options are the way to go.
My Tudor Submariner is on a bracelet MUCH more often that not. However, I have that option with the NATOs in the jewelry box....options. .

I had a bracelet for my 26470 as I wanted to have options. I quite liked it as it gave the piece a completely different look and feel. Good for some of the summer months instead of using the hornback alligator strap

This is my concern too with the bracelet.
I think they look hands down amazing in photos, but know exactly what you mean by too much steel. I had planned on adding one soon after acquiring my 15710, but find the rubber just so practical and comfy whatever the weather or activity. It also helps the watch go unnoticed too, as most people do not associate a nice watch with a rubber strap.

Personally, I feel only the rubber strap works on a diver.

Glad you posted this, I was looking at two AP's, the automatic and the diver. The automatic simply for the fact that is has a bracelet.
I think it looks great, and it's good to know you can do this. |

I like the bracelet as an option. Wear it and see if you get to like it.
