One of your comments is way off how things work... warranties follow the watch. People buying pre-owned from the gray market today are getting (should be getting) the remainder of the warranty. Which is 5 years total. In 5 years, when the first ones sold see their warranties expire, is anyone's guess what effect that will have on the market. I wouldn't buy one now at $20,000 and expect you'll sell if for more in the future. A gray dealer near me has a blue dial and wants $21K but said he'd take $19K. I told him I'd pay $14K. I don't have the watch. It's beautiful and I'd like to have one, but at $20,000 I'd rather save a bit more for a PM DD or Daytona. Back on topic, I am wearing my GMT II LN on my Rubber B strap. |
