Nabakov's Rolex ?

Vladimir Nabokov is one of my favourite novelists - and he appears to be wearing a Rolex, but not a model I recognise. If you look closely at 12.00 there is an unmistakable Rolex crown - it is much clearer if you look at the huge original web photo at - http://blog.syracuse.com/shelflife/2008/04/nabokov.jpg.

Yeah, I'd say it's a DJ with Roman numeral dial on a leather strap. Sweeeet!!!

Not sure it is a DJ. I can see a date window but the sides look to angular (triangular, in fact) for a DJ.

Could it be a Bubble-back ?
