From the video you posted it looked to me to be a yellow gold sub. As much as I like Ron and the watch I don't think there was enough footage of the watch and him together to warrant the nickname. Magnum PI wore the Pepsi GMT and it was a major part of the show but the Pepsi GMT has never been called the Magnum GMT.
