Opinions?

On this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=150319920512

Seller sent me 2 additional pics. Based on these tis okay, yes?

It apparently needs servicing, I forgot to ask if it runs at all.

Any ideas what a fair price might be?

I think the watch looks good. I am not sure what a fair price would be. It is listed at $1,500 currently.

May I suggest one in even better condition?

This one is going up more than I'd like, a couple of hundred just since I posted. It will undoubtedly jump some at the end of the auction.

I like the one you posted, they also have a nice one at artoftime but neither has a bracelet. Add in the price of a bracelet (and possibly a servicing) and its not much more to just spring for a Rolex sub.

I shoulda grabbed one a few years ago.

That's actually my auction. I am "upoopyface".

This is my auction and the watch is 100%. If you check my feedback you will see I've sold alot of Tudors and have plenty of references. It'a all good. cheers, Michael

Also

The watch runs fine and all the functions work. Any flaws you see are the crystal. I left it untouched as the whole watch is unpolished and original. The dial and hands are flawless, untouched and matching. cheers

Small world, huh? LOL

I love the watch (the hour hand is great) but I think its gonna jump up out of my range. I'm guessing you'll clear $2k pretty easy. Good luck.

I don't think it will get that high.....I had an

auction for a 16800 MATTE DIAL FULL SET (B & P) that ended 2 nights ago for $4250. I took it in the shorts on that one. I thought it would break 5k. anyway good luck. Whoever bid 1500 bid their max at 1500. There's a $12 gap between it and the last bid 1488. Should be $25. good luck. thks

Thanks for the answers Orchi and Motomc1.

I like the look of some bezel/dial fading in vintage watches but the corrosion is a turn off for me.

I do have one vintage Tudor sub with a small amount of corrosion that I was considering taking to a watchsmith but nervous about waterproofness.

Orchi, I am definitively not going into any dark abyss (at least not below sealevel. )

I am sadly too old to partake in robbing trains anymore as I cannot catch up to them on my bicycle.

Nice sale.
