...QUESTIONABLE band...
...this buckle may be a rare buckle/clasp from the 50's.
...my concern are the link sections. Not only do I believe that they were not available in the 50's (should have been Oyster links), they could be counterfeit. ...what say the forum mbrs???? Stan. http://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-Rolex-18...QQcmdZViewItem |

Err buddy Stan...as much as Orchi can tell from the BIG Rolex calligraphy logo...
the Clasp is a real deal...except that Orchi has so far seen them... with Riveted Oyster bracelet links only...such as 7206 or 6636... The bracelet type belong to DayDate President watches...yet they look more like aftermarket jeweler made in high quality... This however come to mind...IF the bracelet links were genuinely in 18K Gold made by Rolex or not...why would anyone wants to auction it off... at NO Reserve listing...? |
