Icon20 Recommend a Rolex Book?

Hi there, can anyone suggest a good starting point for a book on Rolex history, models and current facts (manufacturing, marketing, technology)? I know they are secretive about their information and the product catalogue doesn’t offer much. This is more for general education and appreciation for my favourite timepiece. Thanks!

Can someone elaborate which is the best book with information on the history of the development of the Rolex Submariner ?
So far, IMHO the best book is the revised and expanded third edition (2008) of the hardcover book " Vintage Rolex Sports Models " by Skeet & Urul
... I know about the latest 2018 Submariner & Sea Dweller double book edition by Mondani books, but understand that's more of a large photo book in luxe sleeve rather than an informative publication?

This was a Christmas gift from my daughters. Not just Rolex's, but plenty of them in there and it was a good read.

I just received my copy of "A Journey Into The Deep"
It is a really nice book! They're only making 500 worldwide. I've been on the look out for this from Hodinkee for the last four months as the original release date was supposed to be December. Definitely worth while.
