I went on a cruise and came home with another Rolex

I purchased my first Datejust approximately 1 year ago. I initially purchased the Everose with the chocolate face, but exchanged it for a yellow gold model with an olive green face as I felt the Everose gold was too much! While I loved the yellow gold model, I couldn’t stop thinking about the chocolate faced model, so I decided to drop into the Rolex in Atlantis (Nassau). They didn’t have the chocolate faced version, but promised to have it there within the hour. I toured the aquarium and returned in an hour and a half and the watched still wasn’t there. They offered me a quiet place to sit and wait and assured me it would be there soon. Another 45 minutes goes by and I’m getting annoyed as I still had a few more things to do and my ship would be leaving in 3 hours. Finally, the watch is delivered! It’s perfect! I tell them to box it up and not worry about removing stickers etc! I decide to ask for a discount since I wasted a good hour of my time. I started at $500, but the sales lady wouldn’t budge! She offers me a free gift instead (a tacky Rolex key fob). I decline and insist that $250 is reasonable for the inconvenience I endured. She goes to the back and returns. She agrees to the $250 off and throws in a free ride back to the port with the delivery driver. Sold! She boxes up my beauty and I’m off! I saved $1550 by purchasing this model abroad!
