Stupid ?-How do you store your watch at night?
I do not sleep with my watch (Sub ND) on. How should I store it? I have heard numerous ways. Crown up. Face down. Face up. Or does it even matter?

Doesn’t matter to me, my watch goes into my 3-watch case, keeps it safe and clean. Can’t even imagine wearing a Rolex SS as I sleep.

I just store mine crown up for convenience.
It sits on the bedside table so that when I roll over to that side I can read the time if i awaken. |

I place mine on a pillow of finest duck down and one of my lackeys turns it over several times a night.

Similar....but my lackey’s keep it in constant motion by hand turning in a slow methodical motion. But only after it’s been finely polished with the “Tears of a Clown!” Honestly, I prefer Unicorn tears, but they are simply out of the budget!

The one used today will sit on my night table tonight, face up, while the rest sit in a watch box shouting to be, "next!"

Attach it to a hanging mobile over the bed.
You can Watch it turn until you fall asleep and as a bonus the watch can be kept completely wound.

We get like 3 of these threads a month. It doesn't matter how you store it. Just put it down it's not going to self destruct because you store it on a magic pillow with the crown pointing towards the moon.

Have to agree but today's Rolex watches in general get a very very pampered life.

You’re right. This topic pops up quite frequently - which doesn’t surprise me. What does surprise me is the fact that the ‘wise ass replies’ only seem to get worse (not as funny as they were in the earlier threads) with each new thread started about this topic. |

I keep it face up in a padded watch box to gain 0.5s of time. That keeps it dead accurate to start the day in the morning.
