I bought my watches to wear them... Too many flippers? Maybe, but I do support Free Enterprise. So, What To Do?

I'm just glad I got my 5 Digit GMT Before.....

+1 as well. Watches are not investment, you got to enjoy it. The same trend is also with cars, Porshe in particular. 5+ yrs old Porshe GT3/GT2 etc with less than 5k miles. I don’t personally get it myself. But I love it when I’m shopping for second hand, it is basically a brand new car or brand new watch for cheap

Sorry friend but low mileage GT2/3 are never cheap even if it’s a few years old. But I get what you’re saying. Maybe I can score a low mileage 991.2S for cheap next year when the 992 on the roads.

You are right; I meant cheap by comparison to brand new. Unless you have a relationship with a dealer you are in for $25k+ premium over MSRP.
I Watched the 992 release/show on YouTube. The car looks nice but I could see how some will hate it. Fake exhaust ! Not sure how Porshe came up with that . good luck next year; GTS might be a good pick as well

That says something that the classified section selection is starting to get as bad as the ADs.

18 new ones in UK for sale on Chrono24. They seem to be clustered around the £10K mark.

I checked the first two pages in the classifieds here and they were all sold today. Of course it is view at one point in time. It just seems odd that today was a busy blnr buy sell day. I hope you can see that as well. BTW, I DO NOT own one and have no horse on the race.

Meh. I'm glad my interest in this is purely academic. That way I can just sit back and marvel at all the Chicken Little antics.

I was in the AD I bought mine from 3 years ago and they offered me $3000 over what I paid for it. I have no interest in selling it. I wear mine every day.

I would never get caught up in the frenzy of any reference to pay over msrp. Two months ago my AD asked me if l wanted a Blnr after inquiring about an Ln. I did purchase and love it but l would have been just as happy with the Ln as I believe it to be the sleeper of the whole bunch and one of the best buys out there of all.

Same exact thing happened to me earlier this year. Was looking for an LN but AD had a BLNR in the safe. Ended up with the BLNR but would have been happy with the LN just as well. LN is a sleeper indeed.
