What NOT to wear when a Rolex is on your wrist?

I thought this would be a fun topic for you guys. wanted to know your opinion about clothing you shouldn't wear when having a Rolex on.

Is anything off limits? is shorts and a t-shirt acceptable with a Rolex on your wrist? or is a Rolex only doable with a suit and tie in your opinion? would love to hear your thoughts

now that the holidays are over I'm going to put my watch back into the safe so I'm on my way to the bank with my YMII on my wrist wearing a Hoodie and Jean's and I admit I feel like I shouldn't be wearing it right now lol

Some have said that the BLRO doesn't go with certain outfits because of the bezel colours or the dressier jubilee, but I wear mine for work with a grey or black suit and casually on the weekends with jeans, a white tee and a hoodie.

When I had my DJ, I was told it's a "dress watch" but when I went to Dubai, I slapped it on a neon nato for the beach with a vest and swim shorts.

Wear what you want with your Rolex, just dress right for the right occasion.

I’m sorry, but did you say a vest and swim shorts?

Honestly I’m not sure whether to take this as tongue in cheek or not.

There may be more or less sporty models which fit better with certain attire.

I wouldn’t wear a leather strap Cellini to the beach for example.

But just because it’s a Rolex - that doesn’t make any difference.

Clothes should be worn when wearing a Rolex, but I will sometimes even ignore that rule.
Seriously, it's a watch wear what you like with it.

I prefer to wear nothing except my Rolex. My wife loves when I walk around the house like that. The kids not so much.

I will dress casual, dress or formal with any watch in my collection.

There are some that fit in one category more than another - but it doesn't matter to me.... There's no one size fits all answers here IMHO.

Same here, except make that an Iron Maiden shirt with the sleeves torn off and blood stains, with my 50K Patek.

Haha. Gangster! This is exactly how it should be. Who the hell cares what you wear with your watch? As long as you are content with your choice of clothing mixed with your preference for a watch then that’s all that should matter.

I think it makes it better. I have gone into shops wearing flip flops and a Megadeth hoodie with say my Rolex 718 and they have to take it seriously.

Yea, I agree. Some people are taking the Rolex thing to extremes. It's a watch, wear it or save your money.

Why put it back in the safe? It’s a beautiful watch, might as well wear the heck out of it
