Will you swim or shower with your 15400?
Hey Guys—
Strongly considering the 15400 as my daily. I am told it has a 50m water rating. Knowing this, would you guys swim or even shower with it on? Thanks for all the feedback. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Yes, its a good solid 50m swimming is ok with the screw down crown. Even did some hot pool with it. But get your gaskets checked every year.

I wear my watches in virtually every condition but I don't shower with them as it is a hassle to soap and rinse it. I prefer to shower naked. But a water-resistant watch will endure a shower if that is what you choose. In my experience. YMMV.

I have showered with my 26331 and worn it swimming numerous times, and no issues at all. Assuming it’s the same water resistance for the 15400, you shouldn’t have any problems

The most dangerous part of showering with an AP is banging the watch on ceramic tile or on the door when existing the shower. Did that a few times to one of my other watches. Won't do the same to the AP.

i would. i don't because swimming generally is hard on the bezel when i knock it into stuff. WR doesnt bother me as the pool isnt deep. The kids jumping and climbing all over me is an accident waiting to happen though

Just because you can doesn’t mean you should...
I leave mine off. The rollies can go swimming, the APs...not so much. |
