From personal experience the President bracelet is more confortable than both the Oyster with the Easylink on my SkyDewller and the Oyster with the Glidelock on my Sub.

I find it very comfortable. Luckily for me, I’ve found a combination of X amount of links on 12 and 6 sides, that work well for me. There is certainly a lack of adjustment vs other models, but there is an option of adding if needed, and the subtracting of the links is easy enough.

Really comfortable but i know what you mean by not having a micro adjustment, i wear it a half link loose usually...otherwise if i take off a link it would be a half link too tight lol

I have been in a love it or leave it relationship with the DD for years. I have currently given up and it is because of the bracelet. No adjustment except for adding or removing links does not work for me in a watch that I have so much money tied up in. The Easy Link system is great and nothing really beats the Glide Lock clasp. Once I got used to having a watch that could be adjusted on the go and get a perfect fit then, no matter how hard I tried, the DD's were gone. I have a friend whose only watch is a 36 mm DD and it is the only Rolex or other watch he has ever owned of any value. When it is warm and his wrist swells it strangles his wrist. When it is cold the watch spins on his wrist like a bracelet. To each his own.

A lose jubilee is probably the most comfortable but a president is not far behind.

Links are smaller so it can shape over the wrist more precise. The fit is based on someone not having large changes in wrist size throughout the day. Hold the salt!

I have found the president bracelet to be the most comfortable as well. I think it works well for me as a I have flat wrist. The way the bracelet is designed, with the mass of the gold allows it to form right around your wrist. The head of the watch has a heavy central mass, again due to the weight of the gold, which allows the watch to sit on my flat wrist and not move around. This allows me to leave ample room in the bracelet for when my wrist swells so I have no issues at all. This is my theory at least.
It seems for the people it works for, it is an incredible bracelet. That is my experience.

The lack of micro adjustment in the clasp is probably the biggest knock on the president bracelet.
However, it can be solved with the addition of a 1.25 link, which more than adequately solved the problem for me. Once you get the right fit, it is truly one of the more comfortable and incredible feeling bracelets made for a watch today. As stated above, the way that gold drapes around your wrist is truly special. |
