Submariner on rubber

I think it looks nice. Currently looking for a Rolex "Oysterflex" as this is after market. Anyhow, can wear the watch without being self conscious when it is with the bracelet, LOL.

Is that an Omega strap or one from another source? It appears to fit quite well. Please PM me with the source if not Omega as I'd like to get one.

Why would you be self conscious with the bracelet? I don’t understand.

Anyway I think it looks pretty cool with the rubber. Very dive-y looking.

Thanks.. It's only a few months I acquired it brand new without the scratches that will inevitably come. I am good knowing the watch will get the character of plenty of use I will give it back when its on the bracelet. With the rubber, I do not think about my wrist on a hard irregular surface! LOL...

I agree it looks really good (as does the Omega) and I’m generally not somebody who likes the look of a classic watch being altered.

Bit odd that Rolex offers OF on Daytonas but not on their divers.

It looks alright, but I still feel like bracelet is better, and the way Rolex intended it to be :)

I have tried this once and even though I still have the Everest strap, I haven’t really warmed up to it. Maybe I need to try it again. Here are a few pics of my 116619 with a blue Everest.

Holy cow. That's a really expensive rubber-strap dive watch!

I'm with you

Been wearing my Sub C on an Everest rubber strap for going on a year now, casual/dressy/whatever - really like the combo too.

Great. I did not know about "Everest" brand straps. Are those the best after the original?

Everest or RubberB - I've always preferred Everest however a lot of folks prefer RubberB - either one is terrific. The rubber strap on the SubC using the metal clasp is truly a sporty/classy look :)

I just put my sub on an Everest band. While it does look very nice, I figured out that the bezel is very difficult to rotate. Apparently the fit is so tight that the bezel is up against the rubber.

Thank you for sharing that. I want to buy an Everest band for my new Sub, but with rubbing issues, I may need to pass on that option.

Rubber straps really are fantastic and can look absolutely great too !

Brilliant for flying under the radar as well.

This is a Rolex Sub, not a Tourbillion Patek in platinum. What radar? If you are wearing in a horrible neighborhood, don’t wear it at all.

Are some of you ashamed of your Rolex? Do you think it screams of privilege? Didn’t you buy it? Didn’t you earn it? Didn’t you work hard for it? So why be ashamed?
