S stamped on bracelet

Hello all. I’ve tried to research on what exactly this stamped “S” means on my bracelet, but I can’t find anything specific. I would like to think I’m pretty proficient in Google, but I still can’t find any answers. Can anyone shed some light on this for me pleeeze .

Little background; it was put there after I received my 16610LV back from service. The bracelet is a 93250 and I purchased the watch from and AD in 2007.

A. Is this the original bracelet reference that came with the watch?

B. If it is in fact a replacement bracelet. Will it affect the value of the watch. Of course, I have all box and papers including service papers from RSC

Thank you to all that can shed any light on this

There are two different sized extension blades.

One is the Standard length and stamped S

The other is a longer one and is stamped L

Thank you Mr. Larry. So my bracelet is not a replacement and all the 93250 have either an “L” or a ”S” on the extension blade?

Typically the Sub Date comes with the Standard blade, but you could purchase the Long blade.

The older Sea Dwellers came with a tool pouch that included the Long blade so you would have both.
