Which RO should I buy?

I’m thirty seven yours old and I really like the RO perpetual calendar in ceramic, and blue/steel is a close second. I’m between those and the 5170P.

Which watch should I buy? Is it even possible to find a CE perpetual?

My favorites are the skeleton and the perpetual calendar. So my vote is for the perpetual calendar for sure! Haven’t seen it in person but I’ve heard mixed things about the ceramic (I think it looks awesome in photos at least), don’t know how hard it is to find one though… I love the steel version as well though, so I think that is also a great option!

Go for a RO over the 5170P -- they're more interesting, more versatile, and wear better. If you can get the Ceramic PC at retail, I'd definitely go for that, but otherwise, the steel one with the blue dial is really, really nice too, and is honestly a pretty good deal in comparison to offerings from PP.

The 5170P is really nice, but I’d pick the ceramic PC over it, especially if you can get it at retail. The Ceramic PC is just an amazing watch all around and the Moonphase wheel is beautiful when seen in-person. I was able to see one in-person a few months ago and can’t stop thinking about it. Now I just have to figure out a way to afford it! :)

I’ve heard the wait for one can be more than a year, even if you have a purchase history with the boutique.

Pretty tough to get the ceramic at retail unless you have a strong relationship with a boutique. Otherwise, get the steel/blue dial - it's gorgeous.

Is the steel m/blue boutique only piece as well?

The Steel / Blue is a grail of mine so I'm biased. Three fine choices.
