Rolex Kermit Anniversary flat 4

I'm noticing that the "flat 4's" are considerable higher in price. Curious to hear why this is? Was the "flat 4" only issued in 2004?

It’s the “real” anniversary Sub circa 2003-2004

Yes, some service inserts have the flat 4 font.

just googled it and got this.

flat four refers to the font on the bezel. The flour is more flat and less pointed.
