Rolex sports watches aren’t stamped Male or Female.

Plenty of threads here with ladies wearing 40mm Rolex and look fantastic !

Also plenty of members that freak out when a lady wears anything over 31mm, because that is the unspoken official “ladies” size. Poodle skirts, bobby socks, and saddle oxfords were once in style too !

Nothing better than a woman confidently wearing a 44mm dssd.

My wife used to wear 36mm she the switched to the bigger datejust she now wears a chnr and we are looking for a Daytona for her now. She thinks the smaller 31s are just way to small. She also likes to wear my green sub as well. She tends to watch trends on women celebrity. They all seem to wear bigger watches now.

My wife wears my Hulk (she now claims it as ‘ours’) all the time.

I was able to size it in a way that allows me to open up the clasp to full and she can close it all the way down and it fits us both. Took a little experimenting with the AD matchmaker but now it it’s us both perfectly.

My wife is pretty petite and has a K series SD that she wears in rotation. Only downside is it gets significantly more noticed/comments.

Rolex does

Anyone can wear any watch they want of course, but to say that certain watches don't have an intended market is wrong.

A woman wearing a man's watch is like a woman wearing men's clothes. I'd prefer her to wear feminine outfits, accessories and jewelry. Of course we are free to wear what we want. Just saying what looks good and what doesn't, to me personally.

I don't like watches wearing too big on someone. So I wouldn't be a fan of women wearing a DSSD, because with smaller wrists they most likely won't pull it off without it looking too big. However if a woman can pull of a "man's" watch without it being too big, why not.

I do a lot of meetings to present what I sell. For the last seven years there is a definite trend for men's watches on women's wrists. At this point they are unisex watches.

Depends on the dimensions of said wife

I'd say most could pull off 36mm and some 40mm. Hopefully they can't pull off 44mm.

Exactly what I was thinking. Deuce Bigalow comes to mind........

My wife wont be wearing any of my watches. Shes too brutal with them. Her 32 year old 28mm DJ looks like it went through a few wars. She has a new DJ thats 31mm and looks perfect size wise. Had her try a 36mm on and it was too big for her. She wears her watches and I wear mine!

I agree with you that my wife wouldn’t be wearing any of my watches because she just doesn’t take care of them. And that is why I bought her an Oyster Perpetual 39 of her own.

yeah not a 44mm!

My wife can pull off my 36mm Datejust. That’s the max on her wrist. She prefers the larger watches.

Aha. This explains the SS shortage. Women are buying them up, leaving none for the men. Since women are wearing these watches, Rolex needs to make twice as many watches.

;)

I really like the look. IMO small women’s watches are dated.

A friend’s wife wears a tt Daytona with a black dial and diamonds. She’s really petite and it still looks really good.
