AP ROO 42 Black/Red Ceramic
Looking for my next AP and this one has really caught my attention.
Love the ceramic bezel and the red accents on the dial, but not sure I love the two tone strap, but I can swap that out. Have not seen this in person and it's hard to find quality videos. Can folks who own this or have seen it in person comment on how the aesthetics play together in the flesh? thanks! |

I own the watch and wear it as my daily. It is a terrific piece. I actually like the two tone strap, the red sits well with the dial colours

Tried it on before Xmas.
One of the very few watches I would happily switch with my diver. Agree on the strap, but the watch is truly brilliant.

Go with the ghost... Much more comfortable and it's not even close.

Colour aside, i also prefer the sturdiness of the strap on the diver too.

I had, and then sold the ceramic vampire. I’d go for the grey ghost if you can get one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Thanks all for the input and feedback. I agree with many of the comments and the decision between the Vampire and the Ghost was difficult, but since I already have a Navy ROO I really wanted to go in the opposite direction with a black dial w/ Black ceramic bezel so the Vampire was the clear choice.
The dial is amazing, I love the read accents against the black dial. And the brushed black ceramic bezel is incredible in person. The black/red strap on the other hand is not for me, so it had to go back in the box. Here's the watch with the standard black rubber strap, much cleaner IMO. thanks for looking! |

As for the size, I think if anything the black bezel may make it look slightly smaller, but here's a comparison shot between the Navy, Vampire and rubber clad Rose Gold |

Sweet collection!
Congrats on the Vampire! It looks infinitely better on the black rubber and I would also pick this over the Ghost.

Yes looks really great on the black rubber !
Is that the regular diver strap ? Wear in good health and keep sharing pics.

Thank you! Regarding the strap, it fits on the 20mm buckle so I think it's the regular ROO rubber strap. I don't have a diver to compare it to but if I recall correctly those use 24mm buckles? |
