How is this possible?????????
Hey folks!
I'm astonished by something, and want to run it by you, ok? Let me know what you think! I own a Seiko Tuna 300m (caliber 7549-7010) that I bought when I was a kid. This purchase was, errrr, about 35 years ago, and for almost all of that time, this watch was my daily wear. I wore it through four years of military service, undergrad, grad, all my work life, etc. Now, I have changed batteries on this tuna can a few times. Typically, the battery lasted me, maybe 2 or 3 years or so? Something like that. Well, I had a new battery put into this watch 8 years ago ++, and the watch is still running perfectly! I have worn the watch almost every day in the last 8 years! How is this possible??? |

When you have the battery replaced eventually, check what kind of battery it is. From my understand the correct battery should last 5 years for my Tuna 1000m.
