Yachtmaster 116655 pavé dial?

How do you guys feel about the pavé dial Yachtmaster in rose gold?
They seem to range from 34000USD - 37000USD brand new.

Shoutout to the Rolex God Ellen!

great watch, without the diamonds. It really makes it a lot more feminine IMO.

I had the 116655. RG just isn't my thing and because its got so much black on it i gave it a try but nope, not comfortable wearing RG... even that one.

Rubber and diamonds don't mix, as far as I'm concerned.

Agreed. Some might even say rubber and precious metal don't mix and yet Rolex seem to firmly believe in this odd combination.

I saw this watch in the Ceasars Rolex Boutique window today. I'm not into blingy, but thought it was so well done, I would actually wear it regularly. The oysterflex balances it out nicely. 40mm.

I have seen it live many times, the Pave dial is immaculate. I see it as unisex, the wearer will ultimately match the watch.

First I have to say: I would never wear a pave.
and i don’t like the black classic YM on the oysterflex strap.
I don’t know what it is exactly but the black bezel, strap and dial.. are nothing for me....

But that piece with the pave is so beautiful.
I was never thinking that I will say that.
Its a complete different watch, the pave dial is also very easy to read because it has luminated indices.
If you don't look direct on the watch you only see a R case, black composite and black bezel, so its not shiny on the first view, only when you look direct on it you see the amazing dial.
The most other pave dials have only different colored stones at 12,6,9,(3) so they are not so easy to read.

That’s a photo how it looks with natural light.

I saw it at my dealer, and while I'm not philosophically opposed to it, I just didn't think it looked great in person. The dial just ends up looking fussy.

I’ve seen the updated 126555 with pavé dial at the AD and it looks incredible in person! I also said the same thing about never owning a pavé as well, but they’ve grown on me lol. The OF does balance out everything very well.

I’d probably opt for a pavé dial DD40 as I already have the regular 126555.

I think the YM Pave dial is much easier to read than the other pave dials on the DD40s.

Nope. I don't like anything about the looks. From what I understand however, the amount of work that goes into that dial is very impressive. I'll leave the diamonds to my wife.
