ORIENT Chronogragh Neo70's WV0041TX Solar Panda

I got this a few months ago and it is still hanging around, I find myself attached to it in a way.

I wanted to try a solar powered watch, and wanted something along the lines of the Daytona, a chrono watch. This fit the bill.

For around $200 it is pretty cool. I got it on ebay from Japan. The size of 42mm and thickness of only 11.7 appealed to me. I guess not being an automatic allows for a slimmer profile.

It looks pretty nice. I don't think it looks cheap. I don't want to sound cavalier about money, but in the watch world, $200 is not a lot.

It works great and while I rarely wear it, I was using the stop watch when doing some of my stretching exercises. It is really cool to see the hand swing around when it resets itself.

I found a nice review of it online, the author was very high on it, and said it looks great with practically any strap. It comes on a bracelet.

I had this 22mm leather laying around that was very inexpensive and on sale from countycomm, and was pleasantly surprised with the outcome. The strap was originally gonna be tried on my Omega Seamaster 300 reissue. That watch frustrated the heck out of me with its 21mm lug width. With my big wrist I was at a disadvantage in finding a good strap for it. I lost a lot of money on that watch... twice!!!

Check it out!

Not bad at all for $200. I think the strap goes great with it. Any wrist shots?

Thanks Felipe! Pic didn't come out that great, but here ya go. It is very comfortable. The band was a big surprise, seemed to break in and make a form fit real fast. Real comfortable. 7 1/2" wrist...
